This book is an anthology of stories of Goddesses, and abounds in tradition and folklore. My story is titled ‘The Amma of Attukal‘ and tells the story of the famous Attukal Temple, whose annual Pongala festival has made it to the Guinness Book of World Records. For many people of my hometown, Thiruvanananthapuram, Attukal is not just a holy place, but an emotion. It gives me great joy to narrate HER story!
