Here is my story ‘Requiem for a Stream‘ published in the inaugural issue of Kitaab Quarterly based on the topic ‘Uncanny Climate Change’.
An N.R.I returns to India after many years, retracing his roots. A promise to his mother takes him to his ancestral village where he spent his childhood. He has many fond memories of the temple and the people. Gradually, he discovers that much has changed. Will he able to repay his debt back to the Goddess of the village?
