IFP (Previously India Film Project) is the world’s leading festival where content and creativity come together.

IFP hosts its annual festival in Mumbai bringing together creative minds from different fields like literature, design, music, performance, and cinema to a single avenue. I had participated in their 50-hour writing challenge of their season 14. Participants had to submit a story within 50 hours (online) based on a topic shared in this window. The judging panel for the 50-hour writing challenge included stalwarts like Anand Neelakantan, Ira Mukhoty, Hemanth Rao, Abbas Tyrewala, Sandeep Modi, Urmi Juvekar, and Yashica Dutt.

My short story is ‘Rebel Without a Cause‘ (satire) won the first prize (platinum) in the 50 hour writing challenge, among 2112 entries from 36 countries and 424 cities.
